Our gift shop is filled with one-of-a-kind arts and crafts made by our members and there is always something new to discover. Our handcrafted items range from pottery, rugs, clothing, accessories, kitchen items, quilts, children’s items, photography, paintings and many more items too numerous to list.

We also conduct art classes for all ages! Throughout the year, the Appalachian Arts Craft Center conducts over 60 classes from experienced and expert art instructors. We are confident that you’ll find your class experience rewarding, as you will be in the hands of educators that have long-standing backgrounds ranging from handwoven textiles to nature photography, landscaping, pottery, painting and more.

Mary Ruden

Turning urban yards into spaces that cultivate beauty is so much fun. Flowers that we grow are cut and given to others as a way to spread encouragement. We focus on hard-to-ship specialty flowers for our arrangements and bouquets.

SoKno Sourdough

A woman-owned cottage bakery specializing in sourdough loaves, bagels, focaccia, and other specialty items. All items are made with sourdough starter, meaning no commercial yeast is used. This offers easier digestibility and a pleasant depth of flavor in each style of bread. Available through weekly pre-ordered bread drops and occasional maker markets.

The Joyful Potter

I'm a lifelong artist with no formal training who fell in love with pottery in 2020. Since then I've been playing in the mud throwing pots on the wheel and creating hand-built pieces. I incorporate my love of nature, my interest in texture, and my skills in drawing and painting into my ceramics.

Dr. Neptune

I've been passionate about health and wellness since my late teens. A couple of years ago I started to experiment with the herb Turmeric, mixing some into my gym water bottle. I noticed it tasted bad so I experimented and flavored with other great ingredients like Collagen and Amino Acids. I came up with a very tasty, very healthy dietary supplement that is professionally produced and packaged in an FDA approved facility.

Jessica Burleson Art

Jessica is a Panamanian-American artist. Her work is created from acrylic skins and impasto cake decorating techniques to form a painterly collage of textures. Manipulating the material to exist beyond its presumed physicality to acknowledge its presences and natural abilities. Speaking to her experience of femininity & nature through the materiality and objectivity of paint. A visual delicacy composed of impossibly thick, icing like, touch worthy feminine floral elements A voyeuristic gaze into femininity as deliciously unattainable and sacral.

I started with my potters journey back in October of 2020. I make a wide variety of functional work and decorative pieces. My favorite way to fire the pieces I make is by the use of a wood kiln.

Albright Grove Brewing Company

Born and raised in Knoville, I have been in the craft brewing industry now for nearly 20 years and have worked for a number of breweries and locations over the years, including as Pub Brewmaster for Goose Island in Chicago, IL. I moved back to Knoxville in 2017 with my family to open Albright Grove Brewing, with a focus on connecting my two passions - love and conservation for the wildernesses that surround us, and high quality, innovative craft beer!
