I started making plant illustrations to develop my illustration skills in 2020–using my plants as inspiration. What started from my passion for plants and professional improvement turned into a hobby creating digitally illustrated plants that then turned into a small business creating plant-themed art.

Bringing light into the world through glass art makes me happy. It is also challenging as you go about cutting and gluing pieces together one by one to form a beautiful mosaic. Sometimes I have to unglue and glue to just the right spot to satisfy my eye. I began working with a fine arts mosaicist in Minneapolis after retiring as an educator. I am self-taught and continue to learn and practice with other artists ; my latest being from Scotland.
