Maker USA Education Meetup

Next Maker Education Meetup:

Date: Thursday, November 13  |    Time: 4:45 – 6:00 pm    |    Location: Able Trade

This meetup is extra meaningful as we mark one year of coming together to connect, share ideas, and grow as a community.

As we reflect on the past year, I’d really value your thoughts and feedback. Would you take 5–7 minutes to complete a short survey? Your input will help guide our time together and shape the Collective’s direction as we head into Year 2. The survey will remain open through November, and you can access it [here].

Your perspective is important — it helps the Collective continue to grow in ways that matter most to the people involved. I’m grateful for your ideas, reflections, and ongoing engagement.

Maker education uniquely empowers individuals to explore, create, and make a positive impact on the world around them. Monthly Maker Education Meetups provide an opportunity to learn about the existing maker landscape in Knoxville and discuss exciting ways to support and grow equitable maker opportunities in our community. Whether you’re a maker, entrepreneur, artist, classroom educator, tech expert, or just curious to learn more, you are invited and welcome to join this collective.

What you can expect:

  • Collaborate & Learn – Share your experiences and learn from others who are passionate about making.
  • Practical Ideas – Take away actionable strategies that you can apply to your maker learning environment right away.
  • Build Connections – Tour local makerspaces and meet fellow community members who are also committed to empowering others through creativity and hands-on learning.
