If you love books, holding a book in your hands is one of life’s simple pleasures. I create blank journals that are pages waiting to be filled, art for the hand and eye, or both. Each book is created using unique papers, cloths, and hand torn text papers. They are bound using Coptic and French link stitching, Japanese stab binding, or hard cover case binding. The pages are 80 lb drawing paper, perfect for watercolors, drawing or journaling.
Wooden boxes combine art, form, and function. They’re created from a single block of wood, then carved or sanded to a smooth finish. Light plays off the surface of the carved pieces for a contrasting touch. Milk paints and oils are used for a safe, natural finish.
