I am classically trained in Asian high craft ceramics. I focus on materials, techniques and processes to make my work. I received my MFA from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China; my Ph. D from Tokyo University of the Fine Arts. 2019-2020 Arrowmont Artist-in-Residence.

I am a contemporary intuitive artist. I love painting in oils and really enjoy creating in watercolors and sometimes pastels and charcoal. Expressing myself visually has been a major theme in my life. It’s who I am. I am inspired by bringing out what’s inside me. My soulful paintings speak to and connect with the essence within you. Art is medicine for our heart traumas - on your walls - constantly emitting healing frequencies with its essence. I paint intuitively.
