Sean Monett is a multidisciplinary artist and writer born and raised in Knoxville, TN. His creative works span the mediums of drawing, painting, animation, comics, design, poetry, and storytelling. He is the author of the novel Your Brain Has Fleas and the short story collection FlugStuff Candy and Confectionery Co. His visual art and writing often explore the boundaries between the familiar and the surreal, and are always presented with humor and curiosity. Monett’s work has found its way into the hands and habitats of many respectable forms of wildlife. Whether through ink, paint, pixels, or words, his projects strive to be offbeat but authentic.
