Ty Murray is a modern-day Renaissance woman rooted in the Appalachian South. Working across mediums including performance, ceramics, and photography, Ty crafts experiences that invite deep engagement, contemplation and celebration. Drawing from her roots and a vision for a harmonious world, she seeks to build bridges between creativity and critical thought.

As Director of Art with The Bottom, she works to ensure that arts access, personal expression, and creative exploration remain vibrant and accessible for our community in East Knoxville.
