Mingle and Jingle at the Maker Meetup

Join us this Thursday at our merry Maker Meetup!

Thursday is the Maker Meetup.

Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

Don’t stay home and put your feet up!

Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

Can you find the time to join us?

It will be a Christmas bonus!

We hope you’ll join us at Blühen Botanicals on Thursday for The Maker City’s Holiday Maker Meetup. Here’s a taste of what to expect!

  1. Kelle Jolly. That’s right. Jazz vocalist Kelle Jolly will sing that evening and maybe even strum a little ukulele as well. Can’t guarantee any fa la las, but you can be sure she will be delightful!

  2. Ornament exchange. We want some holiday festivities as part of the evening, so bring along an ornament – handmade or not! – to hang on the tree and then take one home with you.

  3. Barron Hall and Forrest KirkpatrickMighty Mud and Fork Design are the maker businesses run by Barron and Forrest respectively, and they’ll be the featured makers that evening.

  4. Blühen itself. If you’ve not yet had a chance to check out Blühen’s cool space in the Old City, what are you waiting for?! Blühen Botanicals is a hemp biomass processing and extraction company and an outstanding supporter of the maker movement. Its retail outlet features lots of contributions by local makers, including Mighty Mud and Fork Design, Jackson Avenue Tea Company, Java Juicebox, Post Modern, Riverdog Bakery, Frog Juice, Vienna Coffee, Brigid Oesterling and Sarah Shebaro.

  5. Mix and mingle! The whole point of the meetup is to meet up with someone you may not know! Grab a drink ticket and a free beer, and visit with your fellow makers. Share some holiday cheer. You never know where new connections might lead!

The Meetup is from 6-8pm at Blühen’s retail space at 111 E Jackson Ave.

Let us know you’re coming by signing up in advance!
