Open to Collaborating with Other Makers

Sandra Lee Design

I’m Sandra Lee Chandler, a teaching artist, designer, and founder of Sandra Lee Design, a Nashville-based studio where sustainability, storytelling, and creativity meet. My work blends traditional quilting, repurposed denim, and wearable art into contemporary forms that celebrate heritage and innovation. Every stitch tells a story — transforming what’s been worn, loved, or forgotten into something bold, beautiful, and new. I teach across the U.S. at major festivals, guilds, and art institutions, offering workshops and lectures on topics such as upcycled textile art, denim quilting, sashiko stitching, and sustainable fashion design. My mission is to inspire others to see possibility in everyday materials and to empower communities through hands-on creativity. Whether working collaboratively or independently, I thrive in environments that value experimentation, cultural storytelling, and craftsmanship. I’m open to partnering with makers, educators, brands, and organizations who share a passion for innovation and sustainability — from co-hosting workshops and product demos to developing creative learning experiences and community-based projects. Let’s connect to create meaningful work that bridges art, design, and sustainability — rooted in the belief that creativity can change how we see, make, and live.
