Handmade jewelry

I have always been considered crafty and enjoy creating a variety of things. I started making bottle caps and bows several years ago when my daughters saw them in shops and wanted them. Usually when I see things I think “I can make that” so I teach myself and make them for my girls and sell them by word of mouth. My bows became known as “the MacFawn bows and a few schools hired me to design and make their cheer bows. Two years ago my daughters and I started making simple choker necklaces for fun. Their friends started asking for them, so we unofficially developed “Trinity Beads”. My daughters made and sold the majority of the jewelry on Instagram, but as I started making more I kept seeing new things I wanted to make (like rings, wire wrapping, etc). I started buying higher quality stones and quickly broadened our line of jewelry. I sold through Instagram and word of mouth until a friend suggested I sell at Southern Market. I started selling there in August 2019 and I was very successful , so I continued to grow my jewelry making business by hosting local shows too. I am in the process of creating an Etsy shop with plans to create a web sight in the future. My children are getting older, so I have more time for myself. Making jewelry calms me and seeing others wear and enjoy my creations brings me great joy.
