Griffin Bedell is a multi-medium artist and musician from Chapel Hill, NC. In May 2023, he received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Griffin particularly enjoys drawing with pen & ink, recording music, and making things with his hands. Recently, Griffin has been using his creativity to help his dad's music career by designing logos, t-shirts, and stickers for merchandise.

Cooled Jets

 
 

Samuel has been making music as Cooled Jets since 2015 with an emphasis on experimental production and varied lyrical content. Known for his interactive concerts, Sam makes the audience the official 2nd member of his band with the duties of clapping, snapping, and singing along. He's shared the stage with acts such as Houses, Mikaela Davis, and Mike Mains and the Branches. His latest single, Pool Party, was released in April 2022 and he's currently working on an accompanying album!

I have been in the hair industry for 19 years. I started making wigs 10 years ago in the theater industry. After traveling the country following shows, I have landed in Knoxville. I aspire to bring the art of wig making to the community.

I am an ukulele playing jazz singer and radio host.

Vocalist Kelle Jolly, "The Tennessee Ukulele Lady", is one of East Tennessee's most celebrated jazz musicians. She is the founder of Ukesphere of Knoxville, a ukulele group for all ages. Kelle tours internationally with her husband, saxophonist Will Boyd. She and her uke are featured on Will Boyd's latest album release, "Freedom, Soul, Jazz". Kelle Jolly is the host of Jazz Jam on WUOT 91.9FM (www.wuot.org). She is also the founder of the Women in Jazz Jam Festival (www.womeninjazzjamfestival.com), which will take place in March. Kelle Jolly is a member of the Mayor's Maker Council in Knoxville, TN.

Daje Morris is a Knoxville-based songwriter and poet. Her sound is a fusion of folk, rnb, jazz, and spoken word. She has had the joy of sharing in spaces such as Rhythm ‘n’ Blooms Festival (2017 and 2019), Dogwood Arts Festival(2017), Big Ears Festival Poetry Expo (2017 and 2018), International Biscuit Festival with Americana Music Awards Nominee, Aaron Lee Tasjan (2017),Poetry vs. Hip Hop Worldwide, Knoxville Edition (winning team, 2017), Kuumba African Arts Festival (2017) and Waynestock Festival (2018).

I was awarded "Best Song" and "Best Pop Song" for my song "Whisper" in the 2018 Knoxville Music Awards and inducted into "Knoxville's 20 Under 20" by the Knoxville News Sentinel and KnoxBiz.

Our mission is to give artistic voice to the issues and dreams of people who have been silenced by racism, classism, sexism, ageism, homophobia and other forms of oppression.
