I launched Dogwood Carpentry in 2015 to marry the precision and skills of my decade in residential and commercial carpentry to the creativity and artistry of the woodworking world. My creations range from charcuterie boards to clipboards to coasters to custom furniture, each piece one-of-a-kind and crafted to allow the natural beauty of the wood to stand out as a piece of functioning art. I am a three-time juried Best in Show winner and am proud to be part of the Maker City.

The mission of Whittled is to create beautiful wood carvings that honor people and mark moments, paying homage to the past and celebrating present occasions while leaving behind treasured reminders of life’s sacred moments. We do this using a state of the art computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine that allows us to create incredibly detailed 3D sculptures from any type of hardwood using our own design or our customer's.

I am a Mechanical Engineer that specializes in 3D design and custom fabrication. I design and build custom projects including furniture, installations, and signage using wood, metal, and a variety of resins and synthetics. My processes include traditional woodworking, CNC fabrication, metal milling and welding, casting and moldmaking, and 3D printing.

It's more common now than ever before that Knoxville residents care about what they eat, where it came from, and how it was grown. Weekly Wagon is here for those kinds of question. Hi! I’m Lindsey. Owner and creator of Signed by LS in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I’m the one behind the power tools, the paint pens and the creative mindset. I own all the tools. I cut, paint, stain, and hand-letter all my signs free handed (non stencil, no vinyl). I even wood burn! Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a passion for creating. I stumbled upon trying out woodworking with my dad in late 2017, and have loved it ever since. I’m always finding another tool to join my collection, and forever finding new ways to put my artistic talent to work. No two signs/designs are the same. I have since experimented with different finishes and different types of wood. I have also expanded beyond just making plain shelves and am slowly transitioning into more intricate work.

I grew more and more fascinated with Mid Century Modern design and 2 years later I finally took the plunge and quit that job to start my own business.
