Textile Works, Prints, and Drawings

Hanna Seggerman is an artist and educator raised in rural Kingsley, IA who made Knoxville home after graduating with her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Tennessee. Her work emerges as print, textile, and drawing all derived from explorations of personal photographs. She spends time with and attends to these fleeting moments delineated through the many contours found within the subtle shifts in color and the interactions taking place between human, object, and place. Hanna exhibits her work across the country and was recently awarded a Steven and Ann Bailey Opportunity Grant. She currently works as a high school art educator for Knox County Public Schools.
