I am a Mechanical Engineer that specializes in 3D design and custom fabrication. I design and build custom projects including furniture, installations, and signage using wood, metal, and a variety of resins and synthetics. My processes include traditional woodworking, CNC fabrication, metal milling and welding, casting and moldmaking, and 3D printing.

I got started doing art 23 years ago. I started painting furniture. Keeping my day jobs at The Great Wall and Sertoma Center I started taking stained glass art classes and oil painting classes. Today I sell in 6 shops and am growing. I am a card artist and canvas artist selling in 6 shops. I give back to Feeding the Orphans in Ghana, Africa. I make art by using canvas, washi tape and oil paint.

I write and draw comics along with standalone illustrations. I graduated summa cum laude from UT after making my own major— Social Justice and Storytelling: Advocating for Human Rights Through Comics. Most of my work is digital art (drawn on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil using Procreate or Adobe Draw and manipulated in Photoshop on my laptop), but I am versed in traditional media (India ink, pastels, oil paints, Intaglio) as well. My perspective as a feminist activist definitely informs my art.

Making a little piece of art and history come out of that button box and come alive has been a great way to explore designing and making jewelry. It also parallels my goal of green living and repurposing and recycling.

Knox Makers is a place for the Knoxville area's engineers, artists, hobbyists, innovators, educators and entrepreneurs to work and play. We are a technology and art collective dedicated to the promotion of creativity enabled and informed by science. Our lectures, workshops, and outreach programs inspire and educate both members and the general public. Our workshop provides members with both the space for large projects and the tools to complete them. We are a non-profit educational organization supported by member dues and staffed by volunteers.

I create heirloom ceramics with a farmhouse aesthetic that are meant to last for generations but are for everyday use. My pottery uses a monochromatic, neutral color palette and focuses on subtle differences in texture on various clay bodies. The pottery wheel is my main mode of production, but I utilize a combination of hand-building and wheel throw clay. My customer loves to cook and chooses objects for the home based on nurturing aesthetic sensibilities whether you're looking for a hostess gift, starter sets for a bride and groom, a vase for wild flowers, or pieces for your own home.

I am an artist inspired by nature, interested in capturing very close-up or faraway views. My paintings are primarily watercolor, but I also dabble in acrylic and oil. They are derived from observable details of flowers or landscapes typically, often inspired by my photography and my imagination. God's creation is my biggest influence and I want to express its beauty through my work.

I am a painter working in most all mediums, I do works on paper, canvas and sometimes found object substrates. I create sculpture using recycled materials for armatures and cover with homemade paper mache clay that dries rock hard, finishing with paint and sealers. I also work with kiln fired clay. I teach art classes to those wanting to learn how to draw and paint both one on one and in groups for workshops in painting. I also do commissioned works of art.
