I make custom posters and hand-carved illustrations.
Using antique wood and metal letters, we typeset posters by hand and print them on a Vandercook Proofing press. Any imagery for the posters is created by carving the line art out of a linoleum or wood block and pressing the block into the paper with ink in between. Each print runs through the press one piece of paper at a time, one color at a time which makes every poster, illustration or greeting card an original hand-printed piece of art.
