My husband and I started Beautiful Crafty Mess in 2020 after I had to quit my job due to my illness getting worse. I quickly realized that this was my calling. I love making custom made products for others to enjoy!

Originally founded upon a passion for honeybees and a joke at a restaurant, RatherBeeInNC is a Knoxville-based illustration studio which specializes in creating nature inspired items that people of all ages can enjoy. Hey, I’m Abigail! I’ve wanted to be an artist for as long as I can remember. I really like to draw plants and flowers, nostalgic items like vintage cameras and things that are bright and colorful. I usually start with a color scheme or a theme for a piece first, then start sketching ideas.
I enjoy drawing both in my sketchbook and on my iPad using Procreate. I think it’s great to be able to easily find reference photos and drop them into Procreate, just find an idea and start drawing. I also love the texture of drawing in my sketchbook.

Vagabondary is inspired by nature, art, and adventure. Original apparel and artwork is designed by artist Maranda Vandergriff, crafted for the nostalgic soul and the wandering spirit.
The Vagabondary Bus is a traveling popup shop based out of a 1978 Volkswagen Transporter. The roving store features Vagabondary art and goods, as well as a curated collection of vintage and preloved clothing and accessories.
