Handmade jewelry

I have always been considered crafty and enjoy creating a variety of things. I started making bottle caps and bows several years ago when my daughters saw them in shops and wanted them. Usually when I see things I think “I can make that” so I teach myself and make them for my girls and sell them by word of mouth. My bows became known as “the MacFawn bows and a few schools hired me to design and make their cheer bows. Two years ago my daughters and I started making simple choker necklaces for fun. Their friends started asking for them, so we unofficially developed “Trinity Beads”. My daughters made and sold the majority of the jewelry on Instagram, but as I started making more I kept seeing new things I wanted to make (like rings, wire wrapping, etc). I started buying higher quality stones and quickly broadened our line of jewelry. I sold through Instagram and word of mouth until a friend suggested I sell at Southern Market. I started selling there in August 2019 and I was very successful , so I continued to grow my jewelry making business by hosting local shows too. I am in the process of creating an Etsy shop with plans to create a web sight in the future. My children are getting older, so I have more time for myself. Making jewelry calms me and seeing others wear and enjoy my creations brings me great joy.

B&C Gardens

organic hemp farmers, succulents, custom woodwork

B&C Gardens is a local, family owned and operated business.

We believe small business owners are the heartbeat of our nation and that organic and home-grown products are best! We began our company with this in mind.
Our business originated with our love for succulents. With our beautiful succulents, we create dish gardens using many different containers: unique, vintage, seasonal, and our own custom-made cedar planters. These indoor and outdoor cedar planters are available in every size and can be special ordered.

While we design gift baskets for gardeners for any occasion, our starter kits are perfect for kids to learn to grow their own flowers, herbs or veggies.
Our tabletop succulent dish gardens are now a favorite choice for special occasions such as weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and receptions. They are often featured for Mother's Day luncheons, Christmas table decor and are a popular party favor.
In 2019, we expanded our business significantly by partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to become hemp farmers and are licensed through the State of TN. Our farm is completely organic and our locally grown hemp buds are now used for making tea and CBD oil, which are both available for sale.

Functional Art: Handcrafted Woodworking

I launched Dogwood Carpentry in 2015 to marry the precision and skills of my decade in residential and commercial carpentry to the creativity and artistry of the woodworking world. My creations range from charcuterie boards to clipboards to coasters to custom furniture, each piece one-of-a-kind and crafted to allow the natural beauty of the wood to stand out as a piece of functioning art. Ink Flow Art

Susan Verekar - Susan Verekar.png

I paint original art that I also have printed on home and lifestyle products.

Life is messy and ugly and can be oh so gray. I started creating art as a way to find some calm in order to celebrate and be thankful for everything in my life. I found a great love affair with color. When you surround yourself with things that make you smile, you have more happy moments.

Watercolor and acrylic paintings

I am a SAHM in Knoxville who left the corporate scene in 2018. I have always loved art and really started working on my craft at the end of that year. Watercolor made me happy and I began an Etsy shop shortly after, with a specialization in pet portraits. I honestly love to paint anything animal and nature-related.

CarveBright

Home goods and wall art with laser cut/engraved city and lake maps

Before founding CarveBright, I ran an e-commerce business for many years, but the products I bought and sold often did not meet my personal quality standards. I knew I wanted to create my own products, and thought a lot about the idea that home goods could become unique gifts by engraving them with special places or objects. I also love working with natural textures, and the coalescence of art and technology. The precision of the laser allows custom designs or a map of a favorite location to be engraved with an intricate level of detail, whether its a bamboo cutting board or aluminum wall art.

Lilyrose Originals

Watercolor and oil on canvas

I studied art, music and psychology at Carson Newman University with plans to be a music and art therapist for kids on the spectrum. I got married straight out of college and had a child that I needed to stay home with. I didn't paint again until I was 48 and bedridden for 6 weeks. Since then I travel extensively doing festivals, showing in galleries and various other exhibitions. Art has consumed my life and I'm having so much fun.

Jessica Gosney Art

JG EA logo--final web black - Jessica Gosney.png

Colorful, Abstract Art

Jessica studied graphic design at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she discovered a love for abstract, evocative shapes. This led her to a work as an abstract artist. Her process is based on a visceral connection to color, coupled with a background in color theory and visual composition. Jessica loves mixing expressive brush strokes with detailed patterning and pools of pigment. These different applications evoke the emotional/expressive, the meticulous, and the uncontrollable/chance forces of life.
