Taking discarded "ingredient" and turning them into accessible Art

Our journey is all about saving the planet and turning our found objects into accessible art that creates a statement or becomes a conversation piece. We never create the same thing twice, and we're proud you will always be the owner of the original. You can come take a hands on class anytime, and make your very own incredible art too!

Ginger’s Gems & Junk

Nature based & upcycled home decor

Ginger’s gems & junk is a small business consisting of myself, my husband, and my dad. We are a team of fiery redheads who turn what some call junk into treasure. We work with raw wood and reclaimed wood sourced from local structures. We electrocute wood using the Lichtenberg technique as well - you have to see it! We also are avid rock and mineral collectors and sellers and often utilize them for our designs. We are “redneck fabulous” and part of our charm is seeing us in action.

Nathan Vaughan Furniture

Furniture, cabinetry, and art pieces

Over the last decade, I have been creating furniture and art work from hardwood, re-claimed wood, and sheet metal. I work primarily on commissioned projects and also have a line of products which are made largely from recycled materials.

Board and Tabletop game accessories and book accessories

I make wooden accessories for board and tabletop games such as Dungeons and Dragons. I use locally sourced wood for the most part. I make everything out of my garage here in Knoxville. I also am expanding into reading accessories such as book stands. I mostly sell via my website and Nourish Knox's farmers market.

Art and art prints and printed goods

Annie Rochelle is a Knoxville native whose work combines traditional art techniques with contemporary compositions. Often irreverent and quirky, her botanical illustrations use nature to interpret social pathos. In her work, 'The Language of Flowers' is updated to a modern vernacular.

Weekly Wagon

Crates for delivering regionally sourced foods

Weekly Wagon started from a desire to eat local food easy. I would go to farmer's markets and talk with people about this. Around that time, a farmer named Troy mentioned that an apartment complex in Chattanooga had once approached him about delivering directly to their residents. It's more common now than ever before that Knoxville residents care about what they eat, where it came from, and how it was grown. Weekly Wagon is here for those kinds of question. It delivers regionally sourced foods directly to your door.

Natural Soy Wax Scented Candles and Wax Melts

I love a good inviting scent in a home whether coming from the kitchen after cooking a meal or fresh, fruity or clean coming from a candle. I started making my own candles about 8 years ago and after lots and lots of testing, learning, reading, researching, trial and error and more I decided to create a brand and that is how my small business started. Wheat's Woodwork

Custom Furniture and Creations

Originally in the music and touring business, everything got shut down for us March 12, 2020 with no immediate end in site. This business is something we always dreamed of doing, but never had the time in between a very busy touring schedule. The Lord provided us an opportunity and Wheat's woodworks was started on a whim and a prayer. Life has been filed with more family time than ever before, and the ability to hand craft some beautiful wood creations and furniture that we are more than proud of.

Little Mountain Flower Farm

a - Susie Kawar.jpg

I grow flowers and make floral arrangements

Little Mountain flower farm focuses on growing high quality cut flowers for local markets, events, and delivered arrangements to Knoxville and the surrounding areas. All of our flowers are grown chemical-free, using soil-friendly, regenerative, farming methods.
Design work is inspired by what we have growing on the farm each season, as well as the mountains that surround us. We often incorporate wild elements in our designs, inspired from Appalachia. Every stem we use wild or otherwise is grown on our farm in Maryville. This allows us to minimize our carbon footprint and create florals that are truly unique to our community.

Handcrafted and Hand Lettered Wood Signs

Hi! I’m Lindsey. Owner and creator of Signed by LS in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I’m the one behind the power tools, the paint pens and the creative mindset. I own all the tools. I cut, paint, stain, and hand-letter all my signs free handed (non stencil, no vinyl). I even wood burn! Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a passion for creating. I stumbled upon trying out woodworking with my dad in late 2017, and have loved it ever since. I’m always finding another tool to join my collection, and forever finding new ways to put my artistic talent to work. No two signs/designs are the same. And there’s always something wonderful about authentic, real wood art that will last for years.
