Gay Bryant is an artist, painter, and printmaker who teaches regionally and resides in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has worked as a studio artist for the last 30 years and has been developing her art since grade school. A deep appreciation of nature, architecture, and events of everyday life are the driving forces in her work. Craftsmanship and traditional skills are used to depict the rich culture and landscape of eastern Tennessee. Woodcuts, linoleum block, etchings, and collagraphs make up her printmaking and her painting is done in watercolor or acrylic.
