Each piece of artwork that I make addresses some curiosity of geometry. I use a mix of traditional materials and techniques with as much computer-based accuracy as I can get ahold of. Some of my work hangs on the wall, and some of it sits on a pedestal. In either case, I see everything as sculpture in terms of graphic design. (I'm qualified to use that term because I have a degree in it.)

Betsy Hobkirk Art

I am passionate about the outdoors and paint botanicals, landscapes and riverscapes while playing with color, shape and abstraction. My most recent paintings are inspired by hiking and biking in Knoxville Urban Wilderness Areas. My artwork often starts with organic imagery connected to nature but, as each piece develops, I allow myself to stray from my initial ideas to develop new connections and insights. For inquires about original artwork contact me directly at betsyhobkirkart@gmail.com. For prints see my website www.betsyhobkirk.com

Beastie and Bone

Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a paleontologist or National Geographic photographer, but chronic health issues soon pulled me away from these possibilities. So I turned to art to stay close to the natural world I love. After studying illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, I lived in several regions of the United States, and North American flora and fauna became the focus of my work. Now, I create dimensional "paper taxidermies" of endangered, unusual, and extinct species, and digital illustrations and design focused on conservation, hope, and natural history in my tiny home-studio in Knoxville, TN.

Katekreates

Hi, I am Kate owner, artist, maker and designer at KateKreates. I have a passion for drawing and design and love to use my images in creating new products. My favorite subjects are whimsical, positive images from nature. I began by putting my images on greeting cards and selling them on Etsy in 2014. Since then my business has expanded and evolved enormously. Although I no longer put my art on cards I am always looking for unique and "in demand" products to enhance. It is such a pleasure to do what I love everyday.

Light & Color

Specializing in abstract oil paintings and fine art photography, I make a wide variety of intentionally crafted, meditated, and unique pieces for customers and clients. I spend time with each piece meditating and praying over it, and let the piece develop as it goes. This ensures each piece is as unique as the person I’m painting for.

GinasartHammond on Etsy

26 years ago I started looking for a new career. I happened upon Edens shop in Knoxville while living in Blaine Tn. I started painting furniture for them. They closed. I was so disappointed. However, I found a local artist in Knoxville who taught stained glass. So that is the route I went. I learned how to use a ruler and how to draw. In 2008, the market crashed and so I quit selling stained glass jewelry boxes and started taking my skills to painting with oils and collage art. Today, I am selling in 7 shops nationwide. I also sell on Etsy GinasArtHammond. I hope to keep painting and doing collage soon to be offered in a Knoxville shop. Thank you. gina hammond

Inner Wilderness Art

Hi, I'm Kayla. I want the world to be more magical, so I paint it that way. I use a variety of mediums, though watercolor is my current favorite, to create whimsical paintings and turn them into prints, stickers, greeting cards, and illustrated gifts.

Shannon Stooksbury Art

My concentration is in painting portraits, particularly with acrylic paints, although I use a wide variety of media, ranging from graphic design to printmaking to alcohol markers. I typically sell original paintings, prints, and certain items with my designs including stickers, shirts, and tote bags.

He helped found The Maker City and continues to mentor entrepreneurs through the KEC. He also manages a studio building in the Fourth and Gill neighborhood.

Debbie Alley, LLC

I create abstract wall art and designer textiles. I am eclectic in my style and like to incorporate techniques from eco-printing, silk-painting, and mixed-media collage, to create depth and texture. My designs are very natural and soothing in color. However, I can colorize and print them to match your décor in any size. My designer textiles include cotton, linen, silk, and wool. Whether it is a hand painted silk scarf or a yard of eco-printed raw silk, each is unique in color and design.
