Dorothy Ellen Designs

My name is Dorothy Ellen. I'm based in TN. And I believe art should be fun. Youthful, colorful and playful best describe my abstract collection. Inspired by landscapes, water and light, it features statement paintings with hand-poured, light-catching resin accents, bright colors and rolling shapes that invite you to join me in a different world. My hope is that these pieces will not only transport you and bring some whimsy into your home but maybe brighten your day as well!

I studied art, music and psychology at Carson Newman University with plans to be a music and art therapist for kids on the spectrum. I got married straight out of college and had a child that I needed to stay home with. I didn't paint again until I was 48 and bedridden for 6 weeks. Since then I travel extensively doing festivals, showing in galleries and various other exhibitions. Art has consumed my life and I'm having so much fun.a

I make functional, small-batch pottery with a modern aesthetic. My forms are traditional in shape but highly decorative, utilizing underglaze and slip techniques to add texture and images to the surface of the pots. I also create sculptures from repurposed plaster casts that have traditionally been utilized in the production of porcelain dolls. In addition, I create cut paper and digital collages and paintings.

Beth Meadows Art

I create a wide range of fine art which includes collage, paintings, and hand-painted wooden cut-outs and wearables. Conceptually, I enjoy mixing my life in East Tennessee with aspirational and luxurious living, drawing inspiration from contemporary, high-end design. The themes I enjoy exploring include female confidence, mental health, and interpersonal relationships using dark and humorous undertones. I create artwork for exhibitions, retail locations, and take on commissions that fit within my current body of work.

Shannon Deana Johnson

I am a mixed media artist inspired by nature and the creative process. The organic shapes, textures and colors found in nature are a constant source of peace and wonder. I seek to capture the essence of my experience with nature in my art and share it with those who view it. When painting, I allow the medium to do what it naturally does with gentle guidance. It is a meditative process and a balance between harmony and contrast, simplicity and accumulation, and stillness and motion.
