3D Printed goods

It started with a hand-me-down 3d printer and an idea for a birthday present. I printed an electric violin for my daughter. I was new to the technology, but that's okay - she was new to the violin.

That introduced me to what 3d printing can do, and I'm still exploring that with a little more knowledge and experience and a much nicer printer. Through Knox 3D Prints, I can share that with you too.

So take a moment. Look around, and see some of the neat things 3d printing can do.

Abstract Resin Artwork

I create abstract art using the fluid medium of resin mixed with a myriad of paints and inks to create intensely reflective, colorful, layered pieces ranging from smaller home decor items such as trays to larger canvases to define a space. I work primarily on metal composite panels, wood panels and and skate decks. I particularly enjoy collaborating on custom pieces that bring inspiration to your space.

A mobile florist (pre-made and create your own bouquets)

I run a mobile flower shop out of the bed of a 1961 Ford Econoline. Customers can come find the truck out around Knoxville to create-their-own bouquets or they can have us deliver a bouquet directly to them or someone they choose! Everything on the truck is priced by the stem and allows people to be hands on and creative. Our goal is to provide an experience where people are able to come to love themselves and others well.

Felt & bead garlands, kitchen linens and pillows

My mantra is, “Do one creative thing every day”. I string gorgeous 5-foot long garlands with handmade felt swirls and colorful beads - I got the idea from a library book years ago and fell in love! These pops of joyful color go on mantles, Christmas trees, tablescapes, pillars, banisters, windowsills, desks, chandeliers and curtain rods - people hang them EVERYWHERE! When I need a change of creative scenery, I set aside my bead tray and get out the sewing machine to make aprons, napkins, tea towels, bedding, shower curtains and pillows that rhyme with my crisp, clean, happy aesthetic. I love it all.

Hand embroidered goods, patterns, kits and other fiber arts (I'm also a sewing educator on hiatus)

I come from a long line of women makers. I sleep under quilts that my grandmother made, my head rests on pillowcases that my aunt embroidered, and my memories are full of time spent watching my mom and grandmother create. I create one of a kind items through embroidery, quilting and other fiber arts. The majority of my sewing and embroidery skills are self-taught, and I’d like to think there is a little bit of genetic love seeping through.
