I paint murals and make art

I am from Knoxville! I grew up here! I have a Bachelor degree in fine art from the University of Tennessee. After school I moved to Nashville and did faux finishing for a couple years. Moved home 11 years ago to be with my high school sweetheart and started doing murals on my own. We have three daughters now who also love to paint! I’ve done multiple murals in our Bearden area, surrounding counties and Charleston, SC. I love painting things bigger than life! I also paint and draw. My art is available at the Village Exchange on Bearden Hill. I also do commission pieces mostly. Coming soon you can check me out on HGTV’s new show Breaking Bland this spring.

The Chef's Workshop

A maker space for food entrepreneurs

The Chef’s Workshop is a Maker Space dedicated to assisting local food entrepreneurs launch or grow their food businesses. We do this by offering access to 4 Fully Licensed Commercial Kitchens that are rentable by the hour, helping to eliminate the financial barriers of entry associated with starting a new business. We also have an in-house food consultant who has assisted in the launch of 40+ food businesses as a resource for entrepreneurs who need guidance along the way.

I’m a Food Business Consultant who managed a Kitchen incubator in OH for a number of years as well as a foodie vlogger known as The Local Food Guy. I was hired as Executive Director of The Chef’s Workshop, which is a Kitchen Incubator being built in West Knoxville to assist local food entrepreneurs with the launch or growth of their businesses. As an avid foodie, I immediately fell in love with the city as well as its tremendous local food scene. I look forward to the possibility of being a resource for Knoxville Makers!

Fork Design

Fork Design

Building design fabricator architect

Forrest Kirkpatrick is the design principal at Fork Design. Why Fork Design? He just removed the extra letters from his name--they weren't unnecessary, just extra. The studio works in the same way: there are lots of choices out there. To create the most value in a project, we cut out the extras and deliver the parts that will give your project the most value. Design is not as much premium as it is choice.
