My name is Chapin, I'm the artist and owner of Sophie's Closet named after my daughter! I love to make things. My favorite part of being a small business owner is connecting with people in person. It's amazing to be able to sell things online, but I want to give back to the Knoxville community with art and supporting the local economy.

I spend time with each piece meditating and praying over it, and let the piece develop as it goes. This ensures each piece is as unique as the person I’m painting for.

Vagabondary
Fashion + art for the wandering heart
Vagabondary is inspired by nature, art, and adventure. Original apparel and artwork is designed by artist Maranda Vandergriff, crafted for the nostalgic soul and the wandering spirit.
The Vagabondary Bus is a traveling popup shop based out of a 1978 Volkswagen Transporter. The roving store features Vagabondary art and goods, as well as a curated collection of vintage and preloved clothing and accessories.
