Lyndsey Ullom Art

Having been an artist ever since I remember being able to hold a pencil, I have always gravitated toward portrait work. I love capturing the soul of a subject with calligraphic lines, energetic hues and personalized details. Whether I am creating custom portraits (human or pet) or painting local wildlife, it is my goal to show the beauty of the people, animals, and natural world around us. I believe Mother Nature is our loveliest teacher, so I strive to honor that in my work.

Gin Lizzy

Acrylic, watercolor, drawing ~ these are all media I use in colorful portraits that express emotions/thoughts I don't know how to say in words. My fascination with the human face & communication / expression through visual means is a focal point in my work. Acrylic on stretched canvas is my current favorite way to create. Vivid color, distortion, and surrealism help me express the inexpressible.

Sophie's Closet

My name is Chapin, I'm the artist and owner of Sophie's Closet named after my daughter! I love to make things. My favorite part of being a small business owner is connecting with people in person. It's amazing to be able to sell things online, but I want to give back to the Knoxville community with art and supporting the local economy.

Pat's Knicknacks

Kelly Ferguson seeks to create meaningful conversations and connections, originating from personal experiences through her paintings. Her work centers around personal identity, emotion, the figure, and expression to promote a more empathetic world. Above all else, painting is a solace to her soul even if only to feel the fluidity of the brush or to deeply immerse herself in the focus of her subject. The work of abstraction serves as a way to make sense of the senseless-- to grab the amorphous emotions, thoughts, and the subconscious worries and to give them color and form.

Destiny Fletcher

I am very passionate about sharing my talents and my art with everyone in the community. I want to show everyone what I love to do. I also want to help other people with their talents and with their creativity as well. I also want people to be happy and entertained when they see my work. I also want to make work that will also make the world a better place.

By trade, I'm a graphic designer. When Covid happened, I found myself with dwindled clients. Never one to sit around, I returned to my artistic roots and learned new art with painting and epoxy techniques. From that, I worked into a niche for guitar clocks and tables and fluid art. While still a traditional artist, I have come to enjoy abstract and modern art. I have been honored to show my paintings at the Van derPlas Gallery in New York as well as a residency for guitar art at the Vivant Gallery Reno.

I’m an entrepreneur and make homemade decorated sugar cookies from scratch with royal icing. I can make custom orders but prefer to do large quantities for special occasions and holidays. I can provide for more people at markets this way. I offer gluten free, vegan, gingerbread, lemon, choc chip and cinnamon hazelnut (sugar cookie flavors ) periodically. The cookies come individually heat sealed and last 2-3 weeks when stored properly as well. I’m not very fast and require planning and a lot of supplies so but I can usually make enough for 1-3 markets per month depending on the holiday.

Betsy Hobkirk Art

I am passionate about the outdoors and paint botanicals, landscapes and riverscapes while playing with color, shape and abstraction. My most recent paintings are inspired by hiking and biking in Knoxville Urban Wilderness Areas. My artwork often starts with organic imagery connected to nature but, as each piece develops, I allow myself to stray from my initial ideas to develop new connections and insights. For inquires about original artwork contact me directly at betsyhobkirkart@gmail.com. For prints see my website www.betsyhobkirk.com

Beastie and Bone

Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a paleontologist or National Geographic photographer, but chronic health issues soon pulled me away from these possibilities. So I turned to art to stay close to the natural world I love. After studying illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, I lived in several regions of the United States, and North American flora and fauna became the focus of my work. Now, I create dimensional "paper taxidermies" of endangered, unusual, and extinct species, and digital illustrations and design focused on conservation, hope, and natural history in my tiny home-studio in Knoxville, TN.

GinasartHammond on Etsy

26 years ago I started looking for a new career. I happened upon Edens shop in Knoxville while living in Blaine Tn. I started painting furniture for them. They closed. I was so disappointed. However, I found a local artist in Knoxville who taught stained glass. So that is the route I went. I learned how to use a ruler and how to draw. In 2008, the market crashed and so I quit selling stained glass jewelry boxes and started taking my skills to painting with oils and collage art. Today, I am selling in 5 shops soon to be 7-8. I also sell on Etsy Ginasarthammond. I hope to keep painting and doing collage soon to be offered in a Knoxville shop. Thank you. gina hammond
