My name is Chapin, I'm the artist and owner of Sophie's Closet named after my daughter! I love to make things. My favorite part of being a small business owner is connecting with people in person. Katekreates

Hi, I am Kate owner, artist, maker and designer at KateKreates. I have a passion for drawing and design and love to use my images in creating new products. My favorite subjects are whimsical, positive images from nature. I began by putting my images on greeting cards and selling them on Etsy in 2014. Since then my business has expanded and evolved enormously. Although I no longer put my art on cards I am always looking for unique and "in demand" products to enhance. It is such a pleasure to do what I love everyday.

Childlike Creative

Childlike Creative was created by Jasmine "Jaz" Parks, transdisciplinary and multi-medium artist and current master of architecture candidate at the University of Tennessee. She is very influenced and inspired by children and how they navigate and negotiate life, experimenting and responding in real time to everything. Kids are wise, candid, honest, bold, and they believe they can do anything and be anything or anyone. She admires their resilience, reliance on intuition, and playful experimentation and simple discovery of what it is like to be a human in the world through questioning and doing. Her undergraduate degree in child and family studies coupled with her first Masters degree in philosophy has resulted in an interesting personal and professional approach to making. Childlike Creative is the manifestation of both her personal ethos for making and the name of this shop and brand she has created. This shop carries jewelry, accessories, art, décor, and furniture designed for the sake of beauty and the joy of fun for lovers of beautiful things.

Leather Provisions Atelier

I started working with leather a few years ago when I needed to make something for myself, that grew into making things for family and friends. I enjoyed working with my hands and being creative, it is pretty much my time off from work, but I find myself wrapped in it again being the interior designer I am.

A lot of the things I design and craft are home accessories, personal accessories and sometimes something in between. Some of the most common items I make are; Jewelry, handbags, wallets, keychains, belts, plant hangers, table accessories. In some occasions, I make jewelry with very unique pieces from around the world that are fair trade. I love keeping my craft minimalist, artisan and in some instances very colorful, resembling the Colombian culture, country where I spent 18 years of my life.

Jessica Weiss Jewelry & Studio

After finishing college, I took a class in jewelry making and absolutely fell in love. I've been creating for 20+ years and focus on high karat gold and fine gemstones. I strive to make pieces that look ancient and leave my "thumbprint" on everything. I do lots of custom work so if you have loose gemstones or old jewelry sitting around, please visit my brick and mortar and we can come up with a plan for your new piece!

The Handwoven Canvas

I want to have control over the raw materials used I my artwork. That could involve sourcing wool to spin, dye, and weave into a textile or being able to be picky in where my materials are sourced.

A main focus of my artwork and products is to reintroduce the consumer to. What goes into making the textiles they use in their day to day lives. I also want to find the meeting point of sustainability, function, and aesthetics.

Sparrow & Sassafras Creative Arts

I make cozy and enchanting jewelry and accessories out of colorful, natural yarns and fibers. I enjoy making items that have a nature-y, wild, and whimsical look. The adornments I make help people feel warm and magical. My love of all things woolly has lead me to learning crochet, knitting, felting, and I even dabble in weaving.

Cousland Crafts

I make chainmail and scale mail jewelry and accessories. I start from scratch, coiling wire and making my own rings. I started in 2017, my interest garnered by a desire to make my own armor. After making armor, I wanted to learn more! Thirty weaves and five years later, I love weaving as much as ever.

BFW Handmade

The day I learned how to sew is the day I started making bags and I never stopped. My passion started with bags and that has lead me into a passion for leather work. Mixing leather and handbags together has been a dream come true for me.
