My mission is to bring talented artisans together to see more sustainable handmade products while we continue to empower the local communities who are responsible for bringing these amazing creations to life. All the footwear is handmade by Filipino artisans and by purchasing a pair you are helping a family in need to coupe up the pandemic.

Oh, Hush!

Oh, Hush! Is a sustainable clothing and accessories line created using a variety of hand dyeing techniques on curated vintage and second hand pieces.

Howdy, I’m Shelby! I started tie-dyeing at the age of six, when my Grandmother signed me up for a summer art camp. I fell in love with the process of hand dyeing and its many surprises. Though I’ve tried (and enjoyed!) many other crafts and mediums over the years, I always come back to hand-dyeing. Pairing that passion with my aggressive thrifting habit, affinity for up-cycling, and love of creating handmade gifts happened organically, and boom - Oh, Hush! was born: hand dyed wares for a colorful, sustainable closet.

Nouvella Vous

Apparel with deadstock linen

Nouvella Vous is ethical and sustainable fashion that doesn't involve mass production. With that being said each piece is made to order to eliminate fabric waste and provide craftsmanship with each individual piece. The fabric is locally sourced 100% linen deadstock fabric, then cut and sewn by me with 100% cotton thread. I believe in using natural materials throughout all aspects of the design process to provide the least amount of impact on our world. This brand is a combination of social justice and design to provide impact in the lives of others globally and throughout our community. I believe in working together to provide change through giving 100% of proceeds from the Found collection towards missionary work. What is the Found collection? I believe that sustainable + ethical clothing should be attainable to all - if you are unable to shop new then shop second hand! With that being said I want to be a space that provides you with 100% natural fiber found pieces that I myself have curated for you.

Felt & bead garlands, kitchen linens and pillows

My mantra is, “Do one creative thing every day”. I string gorgeous 5-foot long garlands with handmade felt swirls and colorful beads - I got the idea from a library book years ago and fell in love! These pops of joyful color go on mantles, Christmas trees, tablescapes, pillars, banisters, windowsills, desks, chandeliers and curtain rods - people hang them EVERYWHERE! When I need a change of creative scenery, I set aside my bead tray and get out the sewing machine to make aprons, napkins, tea towels, bedding, shower curtains and pillows that rhyme with my crisp, clean, happy aesthetic. I love it all.
